This is a clear example of the length of time it takes sometimes to achieve number 1 rankings on Google.
John Mueller from Google has been saying this for a long time.
SEO (search engine optimisation) takes time.

Here’s the thing though.
The example in the image above was not a significant change to a site.
It was a very specific change to a few bits of text on one page.
And it still took 6 months to “process”.
Basically, you can expect to see some benefits of successful SEO (search engine optimisation) almost immediately, but sometimes you need to wait 6 months or more for the rest of it to catch up.
